Thunder and Canucks saved the best til last, as both teams contributed to one of the games of the season. In a lightning fast and end to end affair there was little room for error, both netminders called into action regularly to prevent the opposition gaining momentum.

Goals from Xander Robinson (x2) and Joshua Blackwood could have been added to on several occasions by Thunder to win the game late on, but it was Cardiff who stole the extra point in overtime once again after being first to a loose puck in the crease.
