Thunder are more than just a hockey team – we’re a family. Founded in 2001, the club became a registered charity in 2023 and is built on volunteer spirit, community values, and a passion for development. From families and friends to small and large businesses, there’s a place for everyone to get involved and make an impact.

The club relies heavily on sponsorship to achieve our objectives, and work closely with our partners to ensure maximum return for your investment and support. As well as more traditional ‘in-person’ sponsorship options, partners can benefit from Thunder’s ever growing digital network. With a large local and regional following, as well as national and international recognition, we can help your brand and message reach a significant audience. Our website has attracted 93,000 visits in the past 12 months, with 10,000 active users based in the UK. As well as this, our social media content has generated over 250,000 impressions since the start of the 24/25 season, and our YouTube channel is also popular with over 50,000 views across all content.
